Landscape Maintenance

The Association carries out repairs and maintenance to all communal areas in our ownership, such as landscaped and parking areas, play areas and, in some places, certain roads and footpaths.  This is done on behalf of all residents. 

The activities we carry out include:

Open Space Maintenance

Regular grass cutting during the summer, where this is appropriate.

Garden Assistance Scheme

Our Garden Assistance Scheme is designed to assist tenants who are unable to cut their grass due to a disability and where no other member of the household or family is able to maintain the garden for them.  West Dunbartonshire Council also operates a scheme that assists tenants who are not physically fit enough to maintain their garden and this scheme is called Green Light.  If a tenant of Knowes Housing Association has their garden maintained by Green Light they are ineligible to be considered for our Garden Assistance Scheme.
